Manufacturing & operations consultingGeorgetown, Texas

Unique advisory services for industrial, mechanical and creative businesses.

The hardest problems to see are the ones a team has learned to work around. We look for them. M&Co. finds inspiration in the most complex of those challenges. We leverage a perspective built on the production floor to provide creative solutions that ensure operational continuity, throughput and profitability.

The first call is free and takes about 30 minutes.

What We Take On

  • Factory Layout & Site Selection

M&Co. finds the site and arranges the facilities that make up the factory around the process, so the building serves the operation instead of constraining it.

  • Manufacturing

From early design to series production, we build the assembly line, write the procedures, and define the quality checks, then tie them together with software that tracks parts and orders.

A significant portion of a component’s cost can come from how it’s made, not what it’s made of. We find that gap and design out the extra steps, hand work and unquestioned features, so you pay for the part instead of the process around it.

  • Logistics Coordination

While the line is still under construction, we plan how each finished product will travel from the factory to the buyer, so shipping is ready when production is.

  • Operations

When ownership can’t be on site, we run the operation in their place and report plainly on how it is performing.

  • Mechanical

We understand a vast array of mechanical systems. When equipment stops, we troubleshoot and repair it.

“We can be blind to the obvious, and we are also blind to our blindness.”

Where It Usually Starts

  • We need a new building and nobody knows the whole project.

Leveraging personal experience in built-to-suit commercial properties, M&Co. selects the site, works closely with the builder’s project managers, and coordinates down to the last detail to ensure an optimally efficient factory floor.

  • I can’t be there every day, and it shows.

We step in as if the business were our own, and you hear exactly where it stands, good or bad.

  • We’ve tried everything we can think of.

That is usually when the subtle factors matter most. We find the sticking point everyone has learned to work around, whether it is a process, a site or a machine, and stay with it until it runs.

If you have the eyes to see, you have a responsibility to act.

We act.

  • We see the product inside the prototype, and engineer it for production.

  • We keep your operation running while you’re away, with uptime as the priority.

  • We build what the job needs when it doesn’t exist yet.

  • We recognize the opening others pass over, and act before it closes.

How It Works

  1. A First Call

Tell us what’s stuck. By the end of the call, we’ll both know whether M&Co. is the right fit, and if it isn’t, we’ll say so.

  2. The Solutions Assessment

For an agreed flat rate, M&Co. examines the process, the site, the budget and the people, then delivers a written plan: what’s in the way, what to do first and what it will take. The plan is yours to keep, whether or not we continue.

  3. Implementation

From layout to startup, we carry the plan through, billed as a project fee or a monthly retainer, whichever suits the work.

From Process to Property

Most people who build facilities come from construction. M&Co. comes from the production floor, so the process is planned before anyone selects a building.

You get one point of contact for the whole project. When the job calls for an engineer, a fabricator or a contractor, we bring in Central Texas professionals we know and trust, and we manage their work for you.

Tell us about the project.

A few lines are enough. M&Co. reads every message and replies within one business day to set up a call.
